9th October 2010 Windsurfing: Daymer Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: 16? Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 41.9 k/hr (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 1st day of a week's visit to Daymer, and the only day of wind the whole week. New board, too! Never sailed anything quite as short as this - bought just this week to replace the Fanatic Cross 110. I wanted something that planed earlier, and was a little faster, whilst being just as throwabout. Certainly the 1st 2 conditions were met, not sure about it being as "friendly" as the Cross, though. Wind VERY gusty - as you'd expect at Daymer in Easterly, but a fantastic day's sailing all the same. Nothing special, just good to be out again. |
